Pipe Spool Replacement

A mining mill operator had numerous piping runs, that had no fabrication drawings, fail and start to leak. As removing the spools would impact production, they had a strong desire to have the spools reverse engineered while in place.

Millson Design Solutions was brought in and scanned the installed spools in under and hour, and then created detailed fabrication drawings for manufacture. The spools could then be fabricated and available so the pipe spools could be quickly replaced during a schedule mill shutdown.
